SOUTHHILL FARM MUNCHKIN at 3 yrs old
Munchkin is skewbald hunter pony stallion who stands 12.2hh. He is by Bradmore Tomkin, whose sire is Sandbourne Royal Ensign and his dam is Fabden Chit Chat. Tomkin is a full-brother to Bradmore Catkin and he himself qualified for Horse of the Year Show. Catkin was ' Pony of the Year '.
Munchie is graded with CHAPS and at his grading he scored the highest mark for jumping awarded on the day.
He is a very straight moving and athletic pony and he appears to pass these qualities on to his offspring.
This 2 yr old filly, Southhil Farm Faith, pictured at CHAPS Championships 2007, is a typical example of Munchkin's progeny, being out of a Welsh 'A' mare. As a yearling Faith was Champion at 2006 CHAPS Youngstock Evaluation.
On native mares he improves the movement and stature as can be seen in the picture below of a foal from a Bodmin moor mare.
