WELCOME
South Hill stud was founded in 1995 with our original stallion, South Hill Duke. He was later joined by our home-bred hunter pony stallion, South Hill Farm Munchkin. Munchkin has now been joined by another well bred skewbald young man, South Hill Farm Encore. He is a home-bred riding pony stallion.
Being a small stud we are able to give personal attention to all mare owners and their mares. Mares can be covered naturally or chilled semen can be supplied for AI on site or sent to your mare at home.
Working closely with the Stables Equine Practice, and vet Tim Randle in particular, gives us the ability to offer as efficient service as possible.
The stud is located in central Somerset, just on the outskirts of Wells.
We have our own group of both horse and pony mares, so always have a variety of coloured youngstock for sale.
